Meet Hao Wang (Allen)

Allen is from China and is studying Bachelor of Business Studies at the Study Centre Sydney

Before CSU, what did you do?

Before joining CSU I was studying International Trade in the University in China. My agent recommended few Universities in Sydney, but I choose to study at CSU as it seemed to be the best.

Why did you decide to study at CSU? What helped you make your decision?

CSU gave 12 subject credits from the recognition of my previous studies. Thanks to that, I am now finishing my degree in less than two years. I also choose to study in Sydney due to the weather.

What have you enjoyed most about studying at CSU?

What I enjoy the most about studying at CSU is team work. This has helped me understand better and also given me the opportunity to interact with students from different countries.

What are your plans after you complete your studies?

When I finish my Bachelor in Business Studies at CSU, I would like to study MBA in Sydney. Then, work in a Multinational company in Shanghai as a Business Manager.

What are your career ambitions?

My ambition is to become a business manager and have own business in International Trade. CSU Bachelor in Business Studies will give me the tools to achieve that. I have a part time job. I work for 7 Eleven (Convenience Store) in Central Station. I have the opportunity to practice my English and interact with people.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of coming to CSU?

I would advise new international students to “study English as much as you can”. Studying an Undergraduate degree can be very challenging, especially when English is not your first language.
