You will be considered to have met the English proficiency requirements for admissions into CSU, if you have completed formal studies at higher secondary or tertiary level in the following countries:

An Academic IELTS test result with a minimum overall score of 6.0 with no score below 5.5 in each of the individual skill areas
OR
A TOEFL test result with an overall score of 550 (Computerised 213) with a score of at least 5.0 in the Test for Written English
OR
Internet based TOEFL score 80 with a writing score of 25.
IELTS is a preferred test and the English test results must not be more than two years old.
If you have taken an English language proficiency test which is not listed above, you may still meet the English admission requirements at CSU. Please contact the Student Enrolment Advisor (SEA) for more information.
If you do not meet the English language proficiency requirements, you may still be offered a conditional place which includes a period of English language study to be undertaken before you commence your degree program. You must satisfy the English entry requirements before you are able to commence your degree program.
