I completed my Bachelor degree in Vietnam in year 2004. I arrived in Australia in 2005 and studied English for 3 months at EmbassyCES before joining the Master of Information Technology degree at the CSU Study Centre.
I first heard about CSU through my agent.
Because, the Study Centre is located in Sydney and due to the opportunity to live in one of the world's most well-known and beautiful cities. Besides, CSU offers a reasonable tuition fee which I can afford and their subjects are interesting.
I like all subjects related to information security because it is the area of my interest. Besides, I like “Ethics in IT” too. This subject has helped me realise that a good IT professional not only has deep knowledge of IT, but is also an ethical person.
The Lecturers at CSU have taught me a completely new learning method.
For example, researching for assignment preparation, guide to writing a good assignment and writing references to avoid plagiarism, which is considered very unethical in Australia.
In addition, I have got new friends from different countries, which has given me a chance to learn exciting things of various cultures. Now I can speak some Chinese, Portuguese, and French words.
I often joke with my friends that the best way to get acquainted with a foreign girl is to say “Hello” with her by her native language. That’s why I always ask my friends to teach me some common words of their languages. CSU is a multicultural environment that gives a chance to do that.
I will seek a scholarship to do a PhD, otherwise, I plan to find a job in an IT company.
I would like to become one of the leading Information Security experts.
I love astronomy, reading books, watching movies, playing games, listening to music, and singing.
Going to the church, reading books, watching movies, playing games, listening to music, and chatting with my friend on the Internet.
I work part time in a Bakery (15 hours a week).
CSU is a very good choice for you. Lecturers are great and friendly. They will share experiences that they have experienced in their life and career with you. You will find these experiences very useful for your future jobs and life.
Moreover, you will have opportunities of having new friends from different cultures, living in one of the most exciting cities in the world, enjoying traditional foods of different countries. You will not regret your choice.
