Archana Mohan, Master of Accountancy, Study Centre Sydney

Before CSU, what did you do?

I have finished my Masters in Business Administration with specialisation in Marketing and then worked in the marketing department of a renowned university for distance learning in India.

I was browsing the internet for different universities in Sydney offering Master programs and that is when I came across CSU as they had pretty good options in one or two year programs and for the courses I was interested in.

Why did you decide to study at CSU? What helped you make your decision?

I decided to study at CSU for the following reasons:

- Program content of the course were beautifully designed
- Value for money, comparatively inexpensive
- I wanted to pursue studies in Sydney
- Reassurance from the Indian representative that the University is a good choice.

What is your favourite subject and why?

I loved and particularly enjoyed studying Australia Taxation Law as it was very interesting in terms of the subject matter and the lectures were excellent. The subject gave an in depth view of the Taxation from an Australian perspective and its implications, thereby increasing the knowledge and expertise in the area.

What have you enjoyed most about studying at CSU?

The class structure is compact unlike other universities with large student classes. This increases the tutor’s personal attention to students. Each class has something more to teach apart from the subject content. Students from diverse nations interact with each other in such a supportive manner and every class is an interesting experience.

What are your plans after you complete your studies?

My plans are crystal clear: to work in Accounting field. I look forward to work with an enthusiastic international company in a challenging role to allow my personal and professional development.

With CSU, hard work pays. The staff and team at CSU are very supportive and encouraging. So, my advice is to have confidence and take the leap forward to make impossible into possible. CSU is an excellent value for money and quality education.

What are your hobbies?

I love glass painting, solving quantitative and analytical puzzles such as sudoku, music and travelling to new places.

What do you do at the weekends?

Australia is a beautiful country and especially Sydney has plenty of options to go around during the weekend. Meeting friends and enjoying various cuisines and shopping.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of coming to CSU?

Sydney is a beautiful place to come to with plenty of opportunities. Though life may seem a little difficult initially, the efforts are worth it and the results are delightful in the end.

With CSU, hard work pays well. The staff and team at CSU are very supportive and encouraging and would even go out of the way to help you. So my advice to have confidence and take the leap as even the work impossible says I am possible.

With CSU it is excellent value for money and quality education.
