Meet Tung Khanh Nguyen

Tung Khanh Nguyen is from Vietnam and is studying Master of Business at the Study Centre Sydney

Before CSU, what did you do?

I worked for governmental company in Vietnam before I came to Australia. My job was in trade promotion in imports and exports sector.

How did you first hear about CSU?

My friend told me about CSU after she had finished her MBA. Also, CSU has representative offices in my country.

Why did you decide to study at CSU? What helped you make your decision?

Studying at CSU has enhanced my knowledge as well as broaden relationships with international students and helped me learn about different cultures. Also the CSU staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They may have come from different countries. Therefore, they are able to help and understand international students like me better. Hence, I choose to study at CSU.

What is your favourite subject and why?

Since, I am doing a double major, I like the entire subject that relates to the International Business and Marketing. Particularly, I like management theory and practice and marketing management. Because these subjects provide very fundamental knowledge and have helped me understand basic information to upgrade my knowledge for other subjects.

What have you enjoyed most about studying at CSU?

I have a chance to communicate with my international friends and learn about their culture, behaviour, languages and of course their way of study.

What are your plans after you complete your studies?

I will return to Vietnam to do business. I will try to apply the knowledge that I have gained from my lecturers. Actually I will continue the job that I had before and start some new marketing business.

What are your career ambitions?

Hopefully, try to become a consultant in business industry.

What are your hobbies?

I like playing soccer and tennis.

What do you do at the weekends?

I usually play soccer with my friends at the weekend.
