Yoshita Ginige is from Sri Lanka and is studying Bachelor of Business Marketing at the Study Centre Sydney
Before CSU, what did you do?
After finishing High School in Sri Lanka, I enrolled in Martin College Sydney to do a diploma of Business mayor in Travel & Tourism. Then I started my degree in Charles Sturt University Sydney.
Why did you decide to study at CSU? What helped you make your decision?
My agent gave me a good recommendation about CSU. Now I know myself, it is a really good campus.
What have you enjoyed most about studying at CSU?
What I enjoy the most at CSU, is the University atmosphere, multicultural environment, friendly and very supportive teachers. CSU has good facilities such as library services and computer labs. It is also conveniently located in the heart of the city and close to all transportation.
I also like the fact classes are small. I made lots of friends at CSU from different countries. It is always fun to be in the university and it is always interesting to learn and study with friends.
What is your favourite subject and why?
My favourite subject is marketing mainly because my goal is to find my career in the marketing field. Also because it is a very interesting subject and the lecturers make it more interesting by adding their personal experiences.
What are you plans after you complete your studies?
After completing my studies successfully, I’m hoping to go back home and start up my career through a leading company as a Marketing manager. CSU is a great choice and it is a big opportunity to share and experience the multicultural environment at CSU.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of coming to CSU Study Centres?
It is a great choice to study and a big opportunity to share and experience the multicultural environment at CSU Study Centre.
What are your hobbies?
I go for Latin American Ballroom dancing three nights a week. I am preparing myself to enter into a competition. I love dancing. I also go for swimming. I like to travel to new places and also like watching movies and reading books.
What do you do at the weekends?
Go for shopping, picnic, movie, barbeques, hang out with friends. I also go for dance training.
